The world's largest retailer's first iPad application
I worked closely with the Walmart mobile team to design the first iPad application for the world's largest retailer. It was an exciting and rapid process, with a slim and smart team, working on a short design deadline (of 7 weeks). The exhilaration of taking the project through the finish line, and seeing it launch on the iTunes market, was worth the late nights.
I joined the team on week two of the main project and consulted with the client through the end of the project and afterwards. In assembling the final annotated wireframes, detailed functional and technical annotations were key - i.e. designing what happens on rotation of the iPad, detailing out all transitions between screens and animations for effect. More importantly, I needed to make them understandable to both the business and technical teams. This is a sampling of the 73 page result.
