Some projects call for detailed annotations of form fields and interaction models, in order to properly document for the dev team. Having been hired to do front-end development work in the past, I am comfortable doing functional and technical documentation of this manner. The sample below is a single landing page, with documentation on the form field the error state, multi-select state, results listing screen, and adaptive layout recommendations. I then formatted this for the client presentation deck, and was the client-facing team member on all meetings for this project.
