BUSÓ
Restaurant branding

The idea of Busó Restaurant was born when I was a second-year student in the college. We got a task to come up with a fictional restaurant and its complete design. As I like to draw masks and mix the traditional and modern design, I chose the topic of busó.

The Busójárás (meaning "Busó-walking") is a hungarian folklore tradition, in which that people want to scare away the winter. On the celebration people wearing traditional masks, making parades, playing folk music and dancing. Busójárás lasts six days, usually during February. The logo idea comes from the three-pronged wooden forks of busó. The expression and mood of masks refers to the available menus taste and the pattern on the packaging is inspired by the winter scaring clappers.
