Illustration for Helsinki-themed carpet and pillow for Tikau, a Finnish company combining Scandinavian design and Indian handicraft traditions with the vision of employing and empowering the artisans of rural India. The illustrations are hand embroidered on wool in Kashmir, India, in a technique called Ari. Because the rugs are handmade, each is unique and reflects the signature style of the artisan.
