Client: Cadence Health
Role: Designer/Creative Lead
After the launch of their new branding, Cadence Health was seeking an update to their popular Kits for Kids series. Each kit could be loaned out to scout leaders, teachers and parents to teach kids about the importance of healthy habits. For this first in the series, we updated the format to be a self-mailing box that included everything the instructor might need to teach kids about washing their hands to prevent the spread of germs. The box included die-cuts to hold a jumpdrive full of activity sheets, Glo-Germ lotion and a black light. The included booklet included a script for the instructor to teach from and also helpful information about how to use the included materials.
As designer, I worked closely under the Creative Director to develop a cost-effective solution that met the client's needs. Special care was taken to develop a system that could be used for the subsequent Kits in the series. I also supervised our freelance illustrator to work out spot illustrations for the activity sheets and to develop a style that could be used across all future kits.
