Yo hablo, escribo y leo en lengua española, volumen ii
Yo hablo, escribo y leo en lengua española — I asé chitiá, kribí i kankaniá andi lengua española, volumen ii is the continuation of the didactic project created by PIBID Letras UEPG (Institutional Program of Scholarship for Teaching Initiation of Languages of Ponta Grossa State University). Developed by teachers and future teachers, it approaches the African cultural contributions for Spanish-speaker countries. The theme is introduced by the subtitle in Palenque — mix of African languages with Spanish lexical base spoken in Colombia — and extends by its graphic project. Visual patterns inspired by Hispanic aesthetic elements ornament the chapters while symbols based on African Adinkras indicate each of its sections.
Since 2012, with the first volume, the project has been successful both in academic environment as a tool for discussion, as in public high school classrooms of Ponta Grossa. Through original language and content, teachers and students engage with the material feeling that it is entirely designed for them
