Belgrade Squares - Competition Entry

Republic Square
Main problem of this square is that now it is not defined correctly as a square. This space requires a lot of transformation. Our proposal includes two big interventions. First one is defining a new object- museum that would be a boundary of a square and that devides space into two  different character public spaces.
Nikola Pasic Square
This public space is formed as a manifestation square. It is designed as open space with no boundaries so it can be used for organising manifestations so it can receive a lot of people. All elements that already exists in this public space are just redesined so they can support all tipes of events.
Terazije Square
Terazije Square had a lot of transformation during a history. With modernisation this square was transformed from mostly pedestrian to mostly trafic public space. Our intervention didn't included some big transformation of space but mostly transformation of how people use this space. This space should be released of all obstacles including cafes so it can be used as a space that connect this central zone of Belgrade.
