With the idea to enlighten the general public about graphic design, Three Word Advice brought typographic artworks by local designers to the streets of Mount Lawley at the 2012 Beaufort Street Festival, through the form of a group interactive exhibition. 

 

6 local designers, many paint pens, 12 custom type pieces and 12 free-standing doors were disbursed throughout the street, featuring a hand painted custom typographic piece of advice, whilst the flip side invited on-lookers to chalk down their own three words of advice in response to a series of questions, i.e. "what three words of advice would you give to your younger self?".

 

In association with Corey James, I curated, art directed and organised the group installation to bring it to life.
