The starting point of this project was a puppet I created for a small story I wrote: A bird-like person had a cage on her head, and therefore couldn't fly. Standing bellow a tree, in front of the sea, she finds the key that unlocks her cage, and flows free with the wind. 

Inspired by the puppet, I developed a series of photographs, where oppression was represented by the fabric that connected the character to the environment, preventing her to move freely. 

Finally, I produced a small video, exploring the oppressed character wish of breaking free, of flying.
