The Chinese character, 福, is pronounced as “Fu”, means blessing. 福 is one of the Chinese New Year's traditional customs, relative firecrackers, scrolls, paintings, become a New Year's like a sign. It is sustenance of people longing for a happy life, but also the wish for a better future. Nowadays, 福 is not limited to the New Year has been posted on the door, small to key chains, jade, large interior decoration, car decoration accessories, etc. in China.
Because of its symbolic meaning of Chinese culture, I used the Chinese character of 福 as the focal point of poster when designing the poster for Truman State University's Center for International Education and Study Abroad Office.
