Singapore Technologies Electronics (Info-Comm Systems) approached us at Ideaspark International to redesign the Digisafe Diskcrypt DCM300 and Digisafe Deskcrypt, in order to give a cohesive and distinctive brand identity to the product range.
A sleek, simple design is chosen by ST Electronics as the product identity for both the Diskcrypt and Deskcrypt. As an encrypted HDD, a password has to be entered together with a security card before the HDD can be addressed.
The project started from design stages like initial background research, semantics research, concept sketching, drawn to scale 2D rendering, 3D rendering, before proceeding to production stages like PCB layout design, Design for Manufacture CAD, production prototyping, final production, and packaging design.
