With a range that extended to just two Pressure Cookers (sold exclusively in plain brown boxes through Argos) the once famous Tower brand was nearing extinction.

That was up until Spring 2014, when the brand was purchased by RKW, who immediately hatched a plan to bring the Tower brand back to being a household brand name once again.

Whilst the client was still developing the comprehensive range of Housewares and Small Domestic Appliances, we had already designed and developed two distinctive packaging styles. These would instantly distinguish between the two key product areas whilst still appearing consistent across a range that could potentially comprise over 100+ unique lines.

A clean white design was adopted for the Housewares, with a contrasting black design being introduced for the SDAs. A mix of photography and CGI imagery gives the final touch of polish to the products, with aspirational propping and informative details showing off the products in the best possible light.

The logo was also given a subtle refresh and straplines were introduced to remind and reinforce the brand’s rich history – a key feature of the successful relaunch. Additional support came in the form of advertisements for nationwide trade publications, a stylish consumer focused website, informative product presentations and promotional leaflets.
