Project for Martini, the Aromatum is inspired by the ancient Roman Banquets, which was seen as a feast for the senses and spices or herbs were added to wine to stimulate the appetite.
The Aromatum set consists of an aluminium filter, a goblet shaped glass and a set of aromatic capsules, with blends of chilli, rosemary, orange, cinnamon, pepper, basil, sage, ginger and fennel. The Aromatum is served by placing one of the selected capsules on top of the filter, placed on the glass. The Martini is then poured from the top and filters through the aroma and  the filter, filling the glass in little droplets, taking up the flavour and scent of the aroma placed on the top.
The menu is designed to help the user select which type of aroma is most suitable for their taste and mood, and has a guide which describes the flavours based on their spicyness, sweetness, bitterness, warmth and freshness.
The aromas can be purchased directly from the brand, together with the filter, glass and display box. Once finished, you can re-purchase the aromas which will be directly delivered to your home or bar, and change seasonally.
