Icelandic Glimpses
Harmony reigns all over Iceland. Its unspoiled nature is full of contrasts and extremes; it is the land of the glaciers and volcanoes. The series Hæimat presents some essential traits of the island. All the shots seek the horizontal line, showing the natural and simple beauty of the selected spots. Most of the locations I chose are not the "famous spots" of Iceland because I wanted to show the total beauty of the landscape. In these pictures, I tried to catch the inspiring silence that surrounds these incredible locations.
