Design In Sight Competition 2014 Lurpak Re-brand

Brief
To conduct research to uncover and explore the trends that could effect your chosen brand in the future. Think about what trends might effect the next twenty or so years for your brand.

Concept
To  create packaging that highlights trends within supermarkets today and how Lurpak packaing can be changed to look different in the future.

Solution
To design portion sized flavoured butter cubes that can easily be broken off and added to any dish for extra flavour, as from primary research portion control and flavours of different products was a current trend with customers today. I designed a new herb flavoured butter range for Lurpak. The flavours were Coriander, Basil and Chives. These flavours are avaliable in a small pack of the three flavours which could be for new cooks or customers that want to try new flavours in their dishes. Alternatively the herb butter could be sold individually in bigger packages to give customers the choice of buying a particular flavour.
Sticker design that seals the wrapping for the cubes of butter. Inspired by a cow tag. Lurpak has been a customers favourite since 1901 which is explained on the tag "sealed with customer approval'
