This year, CIWA together with 7 other agencies hosted "International Women's Day 2014" at the Jack Singer Concert Hall. We do this event every year to raise awareness to the successes and achievements of women around the world as well as reflect on what still needs to be done for women's rights and equalities. This year we planned two events. Here was the primary poster that I designed for the events. This poster was also altered for bus/train ads, newspapers, promotional postcards, etc. For the design I took a portion of our logo and blew it up so it looks like a woman in celebration. The logo, designed last year by a different designer, can be interpreted as many things. It can represent the 8 of March 8th, a seed with a growing bloom or a person celebrating.
