This year, CIWA together with 7 other agencies hosted "International Women's Day 2014" at the Jack Singer Concert Hall and various Calgary Public Libraries. We do this event every year to raise awareness to the successes and achievements of women around the world as well as reflect on what still needs to be done for women's rights and equalities. This year we planned two events. Here was the poster that I designed for the Library events. This poster was also altered for posters, newspapers, etc. The event was based on a woman's Journey through time. To represent this I created illustrations of women at various points in time and dress as well as created a stylized clock to represent the flow of time. This event was very well attended by the community.
