We Love Learning Program

"We worry about what a child will become tomorrow, yet we forget that he is someone today."
- Stacia Tauscher

WeLL - "We Love Learning" started of as just a weekly project in 2002 and it has now expanded into an official non-profitable community program, entirely driven by volunteers, grassroots leaders and funded by well wishes. It aims to encourage learning & self-improvement amongst children from lower-income and single parents family through building of self-esteem, inspiring confidence and instilling positive personal values through its activities. WeLL activities & programs inspires kids between the age of 4 to 12 where they enjoy learning through fun experiences, role plays, self discovery, creative games and educational field trips.

WeLL's Philosophy
We believe that in every child, there is a dream; To love and to be love.
Let's make that dream possible.

WeLL's Mission
Giving every child an opportunity to grow, learn and reach their fullest potential.
Providing an environment where children from disadvantaged families can learn & develop pro-social skills & positive values to become responsible & dependable individuals.

WeLL's Core Values: C.A.R.E
/ Care - We care for each other (children, volunteers, parents and community)
/ Aspire - We do our jobs with enthusiasm and not obsession. We balance the needs for each other.
/ Repect - We respect the cultural diversity from one another.
/ Excellence - We help our children achieve their full potentials.

If you would like to volunteer for the WeLL Programme or know someone who may benefit from this programme, email the YEC at hendersonwellprog@gmail.com.
You can also join Henderson CC YEC on Facebook.
WeLL LOGO identity is derived from the story of 井底之蛙 (Frog in a Well). Where the volunteers want every child (the trapped frog in the well) to jump out from the 'well' to be able to achieve their innate potential, gain more knowledge & pick up new skills that will benefit their future. THE SYMBOL primarily the frog is the symbol of WeLL Program as every child is WeLL's valuable asset. The frog symbol is always placed on top of the WeLL word to emphasize the idea of an untrapped frog out of a well.

WeLL's corporate identity collaterals are important when it comes to formally requesting sponsors for funds and support, yet at the same time, WeLL is an important & fun symbol for the children. Therefore all branding collaterals are designed in a way that emits both a formal tone as well as with tints of fun & colors when needed.
