I am fortunate to be able to work with Nanyang Junior College again for this year Open House 2014. NYJC have chose to use the phrase that was suggested last year, "SAY YES TO NYJC" as their official slogan for the school and for all future open-houses. Adhering to the objective of marketing the school to prospective students, I have proposed that the direction of this year's campaign to be more "initative driven".
 
Incorporating the color palette of NYJC existing logo along with the slogan, this year's campaign aims to encourage and urge the students initiative to "SAY YES TO NYJC". The main visuals are of colored bubbles containing different fonts and forms of "YES"es, suggesting the different yeses gathered by prospective students from various schools to choose NYJC as their next destination. These bubbles visuals also hinted last year's success in the massive YESes that the school have collected. 
 
"Action speaks louder than words". How do we increase the initiative by the prospective students? Through the action of pasting and idea of leaving a mark, leaving a yes. Huge colored empty bubbles are designed for the photobooth backdrop, each prospective students are given 4 pieces of stickers that they could choose to keep or "leave a yes" on it. The decision to paste the yes or not, also subtly prompt the prospective students whether to say Yes to NYJC or not, as they are now required to indirectly make a decision. The collective effort of saying/pasting yes will result in a collaborative design on the photobooth wall. Last year, we want to make it 100% clear, we encourage the prospective students to say "yes". This year, we motivate, we guide and make them remember in giving us a YES.
