I was strongly inspired by the element of Bismuth, found on the periodic table of elements, specifically its intricate colors, hard edges, and beveled elements.  Using these themes as a jumping block, I created a typeface (full upper-case alphabet, numbers, and symbols) that embodies the structural yet unique form of Bismuth.  For the comprehensive posters, I drew reference from the actual tones of the real-life element.
