GIMLE 1939

Ever since Gimle Perfumery opened its doors in 1939 their staple has been exceptional customer service, delivered with warmth and personality. The shop is a landmark in the Norwegian capitol. In November 2013 Gimle expanded and opened a full service beauty institute. In close collaboration with the multi-disciplinary strategy and design agency Dinamo Design a complete new brand experience was created – from graphics to interiors. From a story of heritage and tradition via a classical frame and an emotive ink signature, a dynamic, lavish visual expression flourishes, producing layers of complex, tactile stories about the brand. Within the space, the frames and layers have been extruded – frames become physical, motives become objects.
