Terje Haakonsen
Haakonsen is widely considered one of the most influential snowboarders of all time and was one of
the sport's early icons and he is still a living legend.
Arguably the greatest legend in snowboarding, Terje is the rider who most others look up to.
The master of amplitude and style in the halfpipe and on quarterpipes, he is also one of the fastest
riders in the world. In '04 he won his 6th Mt. Baker Banked Slalom.
He rarely competes, but when he does he is still the one to beat, if only for bragging rights. With a trick named after him (the Haakonflip), his own event (The Arctic Challenge) and his hand in the design of multiple boards in the Burton line (Fish, Malolo and T6), Terje remains one of the most important and influential riders in the world.
Terje Haakonsen has left an indelible mark on snowboarding. He is arguably the world's best rider with enough prestigious contest wins to back him up. He has boycotted the Olympics and seen his call-out of the OIC come true. An international snowboarding legend that still sponsored by Burton, Volcom and Oakley.

The Case
Terje wanted to start a platform with exclusive content with images and movies from his travelling around the world. He wanted to share his riding experiences, tips&tricks, perspectives, and anything else that he find relevant in life, travelling and board shredding.
Another important factor is that Terje also wanted to share his own opinions
about sport, food and politics through his new visual identity.
" Life is boring going straight. Life is better going sideways."
" Life is boring going straight. Life is better going sideways."
Terje Haakonsen Logo:
The Terje Haakonsen logo is simply build up by fundamental shapes like the horizontal
arrow and the snowboard rider. This also creates the initials TH for Terje Haakonsen.

The Terje index
The logo became flexible and we called it the Terje index. It shows different moods / face expressions.
Terje has alot of opinions about sport, food and politics and
this has become his quality mark on what is good or bad in his life.
