H.N. Werkman, designed by BunkerType
From January 24 and for more than one month, we will be able to enjoy (I hope) one interesting exhibition in which H. N. Werkman will come back as protagonist. The Agora Hall of the Elisava School will gather some of the views from which observe the work of the great Dutch creator. That work will be structured- could not be otherwise – by the luxury reproduction in issue facsimile of the magazine The Next Call (1923-1926) owned by the Enric Bricall library Fund.
The exhibition, entitled “The Next Call, van H. N. Werkman. An interpretation of BunkerType”, abounds in the work of analysis and reinterpretation that I presented more than one year ago and is complemented with some proposals that seemed especially relevant attending to the University context in which this exhibition will take place.

A partir del día 23 de enero y hasta el 7 de marzo podremos disfrutar de una (espero) interesante exposición en la que H. N. Werkman volverá a erigirse como protagonista. La Sala Ágora de la Escuela ELISAVA (abierta para todo el público en general) reunirá algunas de las miradas desde las que observar la obra del genial creador holandés, vertebradas -como no podía ser de otro modo- por la lujosa reproducción en edición facsímil de la revista The Next Call (1923-1926) propiedad del fondo de la Biblioteca Enric Bricall.
La exposición, que lleva por título “The Next Call, van H. N. Werkman. Una interpretación de BunkerType”, abunda en el trabajo de análisis y reinterpretación que presenté hace ya algo más de un año y lo complementa con algunas propuestas que nos parecieron especialmente pertinentes atendiendo al contexto universitario en el que ésta se desarrollará.
