Werkman #03
On the occasion of the exhibition "The Next Call, van H. N. Werkman; An interpretation of BunkerType" I expanded the collection of works dedicated to the great Dutch author using an ancient Albion 1845 Press property of Arcangela Regis (Lauren Press), a press similar to the one Werkman was using.
These three compositions try to dive into the typographic universe that Werkman created in his small workshop in Groningen in the Netherlands during the interwar period. A printing of twenty copies of which this little video, made in collaboration with the Department of Communications and Marketing of Elisava School, accounts for.

Con motivo de la exposición “The Next Call, van H. N. Werkman; Una interpretación de BunkerType” amplié la colección de obras dedicadas al genial autor holandés usando una antigua Albion Press de 1845 propiedad de Arcangela Regis (Lauren Press), una prensa muy parecida a la que él mismo usaba.
Se trata de tres composiciones que intentan sumergirse en el universo tipográfico que Werkman creó en su pequeño taller de Groningen en la Holanda de entreguerras. Un tiraje de veinte ejemplares del que da cuenta este pequeño vídeo realizado en colaboración con el Departamento de Comunicación y Marketing de la Escuela Elisava.
