Calzada de Guadalupe is an important avenue as it is the continuation of Paseo de La Reforma and leads to La Villa, the most important Catholic Church building in Mexico City, where thousands of people gather every year after completing the Pilgrimage Tradition.
We were asked to design a commercial plaza offering shops and services .

Our project focuses on creating a public space more than just a commercial space.
A mix between a Viewpoint and a plaza ,were pilgrims can stop and a walk up to see the Church and the city, enjoying the green spaces.

We designed a spiral building that connects all the levels of the space throughout a continuous ramp and has a central courtyard were people meet.

The building objective goes beyond retailer sales, it proposes a public and radiant space to the neighborhood were people can meet, rest, eat, shop and enjoy the view.
