KIJAMII means “SOCIAL” in the SAWAHILI Language; the dominant language in Africa, well known among the African nation, and here’s the story behind this mysterious name:
We found out that all the values and principles that social media are built on from sharing, interacting, conversing to storytelling, all these values are in fact the essence of a tribe.
The new media has become the reincarnation of the old tribal culture, but this time in the virtual world. So, based on where we come from and what we stand for, we decided to be KIJAMII …The Digital Geeks : )

You can call us geeks, Facebook natives, Generation “X”, or even just youth, it doesn’t matter as long as you know that we are the generation that changed our present and is shaping the future with a keyboard and unprecedented will to win.

We are fresh minds who never settle for what’s old and ordinary and are always looking for what’s creative and extraordinary. Our passion about technology is what always pushes us to the extremes of innovation, always up to date on the newest trends that are revolutionizing the business and the world in general.

Looking at our portfolio and past achievements especially the TEDxCairo event, in which we succeeded in bringing the international TED experience to Egypt for the first time and built a community of 10,000 fans on FB and 4,000+ followers on twitter. We achieved this without any advertising but through mere interaction with the community, provision of quality content and engaging them in interesting conversations and initiatives.
