When I was a young child, my dad, who refused to buy me Garbage Pail Kids cards like all my friends used to have, drew me his own version of the cards, and the following days I spent coping the simple drawings he did. Once I picked up the pencil that day I was sold, I have never stopped drawing since then. After a mandatory army service of two years, I got accepted to the Animation Department in the Bezalel Art Academy in Jerusalem.

After finishing art school I spent 7 months living in Southern California, first as a tourist and then 4 months doing an internship in a VFX studio in the LA- Zoic Studio. Once my Visa expired, I returned to Israel, and started working as a Graphic Designer (and after a few month also as a video editor) for Yedioth Aharonth iPad application.

I like to think of myself as a diverse artist who doesn't like limiting herself to one field or smiler subjects. Over the years I worked in Animation, Illustration, Graphic Design both in print and web and even tried a bit of Photography, with varied level of success of failure.

I enjoy experimenting with artistic techniques, mixing different materials trying to get a new and unique result. I especially like trying to mix more traditional materials (like plasticine or fabrics) with digital media and see what will be the result (Which ties with my interests of combining the old and the new). Even if the result is not as successful, I find that the process is just as interesting, and eventually might lead to a far more successful result then before.

I find shapes, patterns and textures to be fascinating, I especially enjoy playing with the shape of the body, twisting the body and muscles to create wired and interesting shapes and silhouettes, but I also been trying to use simple shapes (like circles and squares) to create far more complex shapes and patterns. Lately I also found my self playing with extreme perspective, trying to counter the 2D flatness of my work. Read Less
