WHO WE ARE

Established in 2007 as an on-campus creative agency, VISCOM combines the talents of students, faculty and industry professionals in order to solve problems through innovative design solutions.

VISCOM has produced award-winning animation, commercials, graphic design, illustrations, motion graphics, photography and websites for a wide range of clients. We collaborate with—and provide strategic creative services for—regional, national and global businesses requiring visual design support.

WHAT WE DO

As an academic program within the Mike Curb College of Arts, Media and Communication, VISCOM provides students with the opportunity to receive credit and/or financial compensation for graphic-related services, utilizing real-world projects and experience to support student education, research and career preparation. We believe that this “learn-by-doing” philosophy provides added value to student learning, fosters critical mentorship by senior students, and encourages students to stay on track and succeed. The overwhelming majority of former VISCOM team members have successfully transitioned into their respective professional endeavors, and their stories can be found in the Alumni section.
