Salão Coboi is Apolinário Pereira (born in 1983, Portugal) a Portugal and Switzerland based visual artist and sculptor. Graduated from the University of Porto. Born in the European Wild West (Portugal), Salão Coboi means Cowboy Salon in Portuguese, Salon coming from “le Salon” from Paris, which was the greatest art event of the Western World in the 18th and 19th centuries. In the same idea, Salão Coboi has collaborated with various artists, in areas ranging from illustration to woodwork sculpture, photography, music and fashion.
