Roberta Ferreira was born in La Plata, Argentina, in 1969.
She studied at The Llotja Advanced School of Art and Design (Escola Superior de Disseny i d’Arts
Llotja), specialization in Ceramics. (1990 - 1994)

Roberta Ferreira was born in La Plata, Argentina, in 1969.
She studied at The Llotja Advanced School of Art and Design (Escola Superior de Disseny i d’Arts
Llotja), specialization in Ceramics. (1990 - 1994)
From 1995 to 1997 she has her own studio and specialized in designing everyday objects made
of ceramics.
In 2001 she opened Dterra gallery-workshop, a space where she has her studio, teaches and
promotes contemporary ceramics and jewelry. (www.dterra.es)
She combines her teaching activity at Dterra and other centres as The Ceramic Museum of
Barcelona or the Egyptian Museum of Barcelona.
She developes her work in two areas with a close connection, ceramics and contemporary
jewelry. She has shown her work in solo and group exhibitions in Spain, Andorra, France and
Argentina.
Roberta Ferreira lives in Barcelona since 1979.
