Being right out of high school, in 1968, I enrolled into El Camino College as an Art Major. I was also being distracted by the Selective Service that had intentions of drafting me. Of which they eventually did. I refused induction for reason that I declared being a Conscientious Objector. Which was granted and I served alternative service to my country. While studying at El Camino, My promising work was in Transparent Watercolors and Graphic Art. I found myself often fickled producing work as my mind raced with ideas that I just could not reproduce in timely fashion because it would take so long to get out one object. Despairingly effort to keep up with imaginations pace. I continued this urge of creativity over the most part of the next 40 years? With emphasis of designing color flowering beds and accent landscaping to making a modest living. I became fully disabled in 2006 at which time my Partner gifted me my first computer. I found it more than an elaborate calculator which I had understood it to be,? But an avenue allowing me to create art work and at the rate my mind is accustomed to processing. I took on tutorials at Lynda.com and purchased the appropriate Adobe Creative software to learn upon and advance in using it to attain an active portfolio of my efforts. Which brings me to today when currently publishing my work per chance of additional income and desired profession? I place emphasis and pride in taking initiative to self learn my present abilities? Now I'm turning outward to others work and talents not only for inspiration but to attempt emulation of particular styles while gaining skills and knowledge for future advancement of personal goals.
