I usually work with 3 steps on a visual identity project: Step 1 - Briefing The briefing will be our first step, before starting sketching is essential we understand the project's main goal, the brand's target audience, their behavior, and the visual trends surrounding the potential customers. Step 2 - Visual concept exploration After we put together all the information, here the fun begins, time to sketch the potential idea always considering matching the following concepts: *Personality: A visual identity is a tool to communicate your brand essence: your personality, values, etc. *Flexibility: The brand should be able to grow, whether you’re branching out into new products, services, or even new industries. *Intuitive: It should be intuitively designed and well constructed so that each element (color, typography, icon...) complements the other. Step 3 - Final review At this stage, the client reviews the entire project for the last time, carefully examining the small details and if everything is right the final files will be delivered.
