My work leads mainly around the consciousness of the natural elements which surround us, the human condition and its relationship with time and space, meditation, introspection and the invisible human depths. These imperceptible subtleties of the human beings are for me an inexhaustible and vast source of inspiration and questioning.
To look for a visual shape in the mental or in abstracts notions from time and space, that is what challenges me in my approach and in my artist's role today. To counterbalance these very vague notions, the sciences took an important part in my artwork. Try to rationalize the abstract or to find a visual shape in the rational of science.
My watchwords are patience, concentration and rigor.

I try however to stay spontaneous as possible, to repeat my gesture, simple, and to accept my natural human errors.
Today, as artist, it is necessary to handle the reality of a time when things around us goes extremely fast. But those things we live inside do not go to the same rhythm. I am not interesting in external things, events or daily news. These notions are contrary to my research.
I am attracted by what exists " between lines ", " ellipse ", the moments when eyes close, the vision interns of a blind person, the dreams, the imperceptible.
I suggest through my Art to take a break to listen to our feelings and try to visualize them and to feel them.

The discipline of a practice such as the drawing, the painting or the sculpture leads to a work on oneself through Art. The result is not really the main part, but it is the reflection of the mental and physical state of the process of creation. Every gesture is important because it influences the next one. Every thought is important because it influences the gesture. The ceramic brings this notion further than the drawing or the painting because the material (the clay) has a stronger memory of every manipulation which is imposed on it.
I compare my process to a machine capable of retranscribing graphically or in 3D, the expression of the impalpable, invisible and indescribable things in us and around us.
A good balance between Art and science. Read Less
