My previous glass work, created during my University degree, was highly inspired by the coast around the Channel Island of Jersey on which I live. My previous glass work, created during my University degree, was highly inspired by the coast around the Channel Island of Jersey on which I live. I took macro photographs of flotsam and jetsam i had collected when beachcombing and recreated the patterns and colours from the imagery into a range of wearable neck pieces and rings in glass with silver attachments.

A larger scale glass installation piece I created was also inspired by the ocean, inparticular seaweed forms, which is made up of eight suspended glass 'ribbons' intended to be a room divider or window feature. Read Less
