Jeremy Bible is an American interdisciplinary artist with an affinity for sound design, field recording, photography, cinematography and multi-channel audio-visual works. Taking a step away from the traditional role of stage performer Bible leans towards acousmatic presentation and installation based approaches with the intent of directing focus strictly towards the sensory experience. The oft sculptural structures of Bible’s work, ranging from meditative to jarring, invite listeners towards a focused and intimate approach to listening while challenging the established topographies of time and linearity. His fractured fusion of angular electronics and natural soundscapes explore virtual eco-futurist environments and surreal post humanism landscapes through non-linear deconstructions of time and place. Bible has presented work at The Cleveland Museum of Art, Akron Art Museum, MOCA and numerous events, galleries and festivals. Read Less
