Since the dawn of MySpace, Jayne has been creating and promoting content on the internet from DeviantArt stock photography to her very first LiveJournal. During her time at University of Leeds studying BA (Hons) Cinema, Photography and Television she was a successful freelance fashion model and photographer. As a photographer, she specialised in photographing burlesque and cabaret performers, as well as vintage fashion.

In 2009, Jayne set up her original blog, Jayne’s Kitschen, which later evolved into Jayne Kitsch. Once Jayne moved to London, she started a career in digital marketing, gaining experience working on some of the world’s most iconic fashion and beauty brands as both behind the scenes in house or with an agency as well as an influencer herself.

In 2014 Jayne collaborated with her partner, Misael to set up KITSCH.inc, continuing to help agencies and brands with social media, content creation, creative and events, almost entirely remotely. In 2017, Jayne co-founded Food Scouts with Misael, an alternative apparel brand inspired by food and drink, the duo have been working hard on all of their freelance businesses ever since.

Originally from the North of England, Jayne has lived in Leeds, Brighton, London and Barcelona, so far, with new adventures on the horizon. In her spare time, Jayne enjoys practising illustration, dressmaking and making products to sell on her own Etsy and via Food Scouts. She has also been involved with P.S The Scene is Dead, a London and Brighton based punk and alternative music gig promotion venture, including illustrating posters for venues and bands. During her career so far, Jayne has been featured in Company Magazine, Good Housekeeping, Pure Beauty, The Mail Online, Tesco Magazine and Vuelio. She has also spoken on panels for the BBC School of Journalism, Hayley Hall’s The Only Way is Blogging and was a founding member of Tesco’s Beauty Sessions online advise panel in 2015.
