I was born in 1984 in Siena and after scientific studies I graduated in Prehistoric Archaeology at University of Siena in 2006.
Since I was 15 I spent all my free time drawing and coloring with my airbrush, trying to put together my great passion for drawing with my love for science and history.
In the period 2007-2012 I collaborated with Studio Inklink Florence on numerous historical projects commissioned by museums and publishing houses all over the world, teached at the International School of Comics in Florence and teached about the role of illustration in communicating the Cultural Heritage at University of Siena.
From 2012 I've been working for Aboca, specializing in botanical and medical illustration for advertising.
During the last years I've made illustrations for RHS Chelsea Flower Show and Hampton Court Show, for museums, for adv campaigns and packaging projects (Tante Fanny, Levissima, Stranger&Stranger, Bramley&Gage, Fruttagel, Little Veggie Patch co., etc.), schoolbooks and magazines (Loescher, Panorama, Citizen K, etc.) across Europe, USA, Canada, Australia.
In 2017, I made illustrations with botanical subjects for the windows of Printemps, Boulevard Haussmann, Paris - Spring collection.
Shortlisted for three years at World Illustration Award (2013, 2014, 2015) in the category “Research”, I exhibited at Somerset House, London, the illustrations made for the magazine Parterre de Rois “Carnal”.
In 2017, I won a Special Star for Illustration at Premio Mediastar, XXI edizione, with the illustrations made for “Il Giardino dei Sapori”. Read Less
