The first website completed for Sykes cottages, took them from 6% online bookings to over 60% within 9 months (reducing their print spend on brochures by over 70%, reaching new markets further afield - and won the regional DTI ECommerce Award also).

A campaign we completed for arts client, Queer Up North, working with John Malpass and Jan Bradley, attracted 1.2 million hits in just one month - which meant the events they delivered were nice and busy !

For Great Universal Stores I was chosen to help them enter the 'youth market' back in the late 90's where they realised a 5.75% conversion rate from DM work, nearly quadruple the average anticipated, leading to a 17.5 million run DM, then a re-brand commission to Influence for their online output with Gary Loran's team.

Avnet's launch in Berkshire realised approximately a 150% conversion rate - at 'C' level, which honestly is unheard of. This was a multi-platform campaign promoting THE [ReSource] using teaser DM, teaser html emails, pay off DM pieces, membership cards, microsites, virtual tours, telesales campaign and so forth - congratulated as being the most successful ever externally commissioned campaign in Avnet's history, quite pleasing for us and did the trick for them too !

In 2011 I was awarded a commendation from Stockport Council for "Going Above and Beyond the Call of Duty at Work Award' - received official RAR status (placing us in the top few percent of UK agencies) and before that I was invited to St. Jame's Palace to receive from Prince Charle's Influence's award for 'Best Customer Service'.

I've been invited on panels with the world's leading designers including David Carson, won awards for print, and enjoyed reviews by national creative press regularly - I enjoy my work and enjoy sharing what I've picked up along the way with universities and colleges across the NorthWest as a professional guest lecturer, setting and evaluating at degree level through to BTEC. I introduced ‘Basecamp’ to manage client projects in 2007, which enables a new level of organisation with relation to work flow and communication with customers and suppliers.
This system enables clients to log in and see exactly what stage their project is at, they can view the latest proof, add a milestone to a to-do, comment on the latest round of amends and even upload copy and images for use. This universal system means that deadlines are clear, all content is in one place and all proofs and discussions are available for everyone to see. Read Less
