I started Graphic Design like the usual boffin' through album covers and gig posters. I moved to web design but although I was relatively good at it I continued with the design aspect. My work targets users logic, the interactive, motion & branding. Since 2014 I have been working with brands, agencies & start-ups and in 2017 finished a BA (Hons) in Graphic Design with a first class at the university of Bolton & after spending six months working in VFX & Broadcast I'm currently working with print, Digital, motion & video within VR.

I have a work history that has allowed me to understand business and the importance of time, costs & deadlines. I ensure that design work consistently answers the brief in terms of look and feel, accuracy, functionality and brand identity . I also obtain good communication skills to ensure editorial expectations are understood and realistic as too, the importance of designing for a given target audience.

I am able to demonstrate innovative creative solutions in the area of motion design, branding and informational/editorial graphics to produce coherent and beautiful design, considering typography, iconography, layout and brand identity.

I work on a variety of products & activities, such as websites, advertising, books, magazines, posters, product packaging, exhibitions & displays, corporate communications & identity as well as motion graphics and video.

Obtaining an interest in User Experience, I understand the importance of sharing, developing and collaborating designs and ideas with colleagues from design, product, editorial, marketing and tech teams, to get to the heart of what users need, creating sketches, concepts and prototypes.

With advanced knowledge of the Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign and After Effects) and also Affinity, Sketch and Cinema 4D, I have a good eye for typography, colour and layout, and I am able to follow brand guidelines for print and both mobile and desktop design, while demonstrating a strong creative vision.

I have experience and knowledge of HTML/CSS & Javascript and understand the fundamentals of website, mobile UI/UX and interaction design and obtain the ability to continue to develop and implement a compelling visual identity across all print and digital channels.

In terms of future development I am concentrating on further VR development & AR but there is no limitation as I look for every possible opportunity to learn and develop many new skills. Read Less
