My name is Andrea Jen, and I am a comic author, and illustrator. Since I was very young, Japanese drawings caught my attention, and that is how my goal was to become a comic author.

At the age of 15 to 26 years old, I taught drawing and comic classes (Manga Style) in a Japanese institution, called Centro Nikkei Argentino. At the same time, I taught classes on Watercolor Techniques and Manga Production, at the well-known Ola School in Buenos Aires.

As of 2010, it was where I stepped with the most solid professional field, publishing a series of illustrations of Alice in Wonderland (Editorial Ovnipress) and later collaborating as a cartoonist, in a comic with screenwriter Javi Cuho - Las Horas Lost (Editorial Nowevolution).

That same year I was invited to Madrid, Spain to exhibit my work at Casa América.

Years later, in 2015, I published my first work as an entire author: El Delirio de Ani. A 184-page full-color cartoon, through the Editorial Ivrea Argentina. Also invited to the Manga Salon of Barcelona.

Later in 2016, I devoted my time to the exploration and practice of manga, participating in the international Japanese cartoon contest: Silent Manga Audition - Extra Round (Editorial Zenon), being one of the five winners. My cartoon Smiling Blossom-! It was published in the framework of a book compilation of short stories, in Japan. At the same time I was invited to Japan, in Fukushima prefecture, to promote manga in the children of the area.

In 2017 I decided to participate for the second time the same contest. And thanks to that, I was invited again, to receive a Magistral Class of Manga, dictated by the comic strip artist Tsukasa Hojo.

It was years of practice and experience, to have learned a lot during this time. And I think that with what I learned, my adventure as a creator just started ...!
