The BRASSERIE - THEATRE CAFE in the CHASSE THEATRE BREDA
M+R created a design for the Brasserie in the Chassé Theatre in Breda.
The Brasserie is an eating experience space in the Monumental 'Kloosterkazerne'
The design lighting fixtures slowly move over the central bar in the Brasserie, so the space is constantly subject of change as the decors in the theatre changes.
The bar is made of special durable red coating. the oak floor is made of re-used old oak parquet parts taken from an old barracks. The toilets are integrated in the space as a box in a box construction, so the Monumental space is still intact as a whole. The old glass windows an black iron columns are restored.
