Still Running - Sonic Anniversary Posters
The brief has asked to “Create a piece of communication that celebrates the 20th Anniversary of Sonic.” I have taken the idea of Sonic being a character of speed coupled with using the idea of running to create a short tagline and series of posters that not only celebrate Sonic as the iconic character from our childhoods, but, also shows that he is a character that is still at large in the world today.
The main idea behind my posters is the tagline “(Twenty Years) Still Running”. The poster designs do not directly show Sonic, however, they do show the grounds he has run before with a small section of the iconic red boot. The idea is that sonic is much more than just a blue hedgehog, it was a world that people would get lost in, from the beautiful and iconic design of levels to the catchy music that even today stands as some of the greatest Video game music written
