A whimsical serving tray where the secret of the tray hides beneath the surface until the illumination is revealed. Created for the 2009 PMA Collab competition, the tabletop luminaire takes inspiration from Marcel Wanders by bringing a whimsical twist to a classical design.

The reflective surface disguises the trays potential and as Marcel says "It doubles the wine."
The tray begins to glow when placed on the table.
The glow of the tray illustrates classical floral patterns that bring a touch of elegance to the magic of this tray.
Making It
Pressure sensors on the bottom of the tray become a touch sensitive switch to turn on the lights.
