DDB San Francisco asked me to retouch this second series of Fresh Step cats.
The first image was the most challenging because I had to completely change to head and facial expression of the Russian Blue. I hand painted the eyes and fur. I also had to redraw the anatomy and repaint the overall color and lighting of the whole image. Subtle color variations were made to draw the viewer's eyes through the composiiton. The second cat was less complicated, but I had to change the overall lighting and redo the background elements. The third cat needed some fur work and I had to extend the whole composition.
