Back in 2011, Firefox asked The Barbarian Group to promote the very first Firefox mobile browser for Android phones. We positioned it as “The browser that connects us” and created a community based mobile sharing game named Spark that celebrated its community of loyalists as much as it celebrated its own launch. Similar to the idea of passing an Olympic torch, we wanted the Firefox community to pass the mobile browser around the world.
