The late 90's was the heyday of Toronto as a global center of design innovation. Since then, with global financial blunders in 2001 and 2008, that "world class" flattery is all but gone. Not our fault.
The world classiness will be back again, as the piles of cash stuffed in corporate mattresses will need to become something, someday to someone.
