Gary Erickson, Architect
BFA, MArch, OAA, PMP, LEED@AP
I am a licensed professional architect in Toronto, Canada, with extensive experience in design and illustration within the fields of architecture, landscape architecture, and interior design.
My work as a Design Architect is influenced by my training as a fine artist, project manager, and architect.
My illustration embodies the sustainable values of the west coast of Canada, where I completed an M. Arch at UBC in Architecture. Landscape, in land, sea, air, and climate plays strongly in each image.
My style of work embraces the historicity of Fine Arts, as it spans cultural and temporal boundaries, from ancient to contemporary.
Notwithstanding the hand-drawn qualities of my work, I work extensively with the latest computer apps, in Mac or PC. My work is now colored in Adobe Photoshop.
I work with engineers to achieve the final result. My images are buildable and affordable.
I have designed most building types personally. I have worked for the largest of North American based firms, such as HOK, SOM and IBI as a design architect, from Toronto to Vancouver, and New York to Florida.
I can now offer a fast hand-drawn compliment to the design development of international projects.
