In the Bible we can only find a few paragraphs telling the story of creation and a broad description of the Garden of Eden. Bosch, Thomas Cole, John Milton and Michelangelo are just some of those who have imagined and portrayed this place according to their own assumptions. However, the idea we have of paradise exists only in our imagination. The book is divided in four sections: sky, water, land, and life. Each section contains classified elements mentioned in the bible. Each element is in a page with a die-cut illustration, the corresponding bible quote, and text with its history and meaning. For each element, the reader is able to “colour” it by inserting a coloured paper (of his own choosing) from a variety that come with the book. Thanks to the japanese bind, each page has a perfect pocket where the paper fits. As a result, the reader colorizes all elements of paradise according to how they imagine it, creating their own Eden.
