Community Colleges of Spokane Revisions
As the spring semester fast approached, we started looking into the user flow of our websites at the Community Colleges of Spokane. We had received a lot of feedback from students and faculty that our "What to Study" pages were becoming cluttered with buttons, and our program pages were not attracting as many students as we had hoped. We had recently started using the heat mapping program, Hotjar, to see how our users were actually navigating and interacting with these pages. With this data, we found many users avoided right-sided menu options, and we had too many buttons on some of our pages.
