"The Pursuit" | 10th Anniversary re-design

— BACKGROUND
Jamie Cullum has become one of the main references in vocal jazz inside the british and international musical scene. With over 20 years of career, Cullum stands out for a virtuous piano playing and his distinguishing interpretation, apart from his compositions of quality at any level and his jazzy covers of songs from the popular music. In fact, he is very known for being the author of a cover of the song "Don't Stop The Music" by Rihanna.
The album we're talking about ("The Pursuit") was fundamental in terms of consolidating his professional career and is full of hits that go from pure jazz to contemporary pop.

— RESEARCH AND CONCEPT
Jamie Cullum named the album "The Pursuit" to emphasize the pursuit that he had been doing as a musician through all the years. He was trying to find his path, his essence, it was a process of experimentation. In fact, he claimed that "Life is one long pursuit. Being a musician is not about any obvious goal; it's about appreciating the journey. [...] The artists I most admire, change and evolve over the years, but still remain themselves. That's what I aspire to".
And that is what we wanted to represent through our design. We wanted to show the evolution (personal and artistically) of the artist and hence, of the product (it's about to approach 10 years since the launching).
